Description

Your program’s Parent Advisory Board (PAB) has indicated its concern that there may be some barriers to communication between the families and the program staff. Therefore, the PAB has assigned to you the task of researching the potential barriers and then identifying potential solutions to increase the effectiveness of positive communication methods across the program.
Instructions
Create a chart that identifies five barriers early childhood professionals face when communicating with others within a program and offer responsive solutions to mitigate each barrier.
Barriers must cover communication with children, families, and colleagues.

For each of the five barriers, include the following in your chart:

Name and description of the barrier along with which group the barrier effects
An explanation of how the barrier could negatively impact the program’s communication efforts and why the barrier must be addressed in the program.
Identify a responsive solution that could be implemented to mitigate the negative effects on the program’s communication. Include an in-text citation that provides research to support the suggested solution’s effectiveness.

The chart should also include:

Professional language, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
An in-text citation to support each of the proposed solutions as best practice.
Reference page with APA formatted references that match your in-text citations.
